You’ll love our cozy beach cottage because it is fully equipped in a wonderful area in North Pacific Beach. Only a few blocks away from the beach and boardwalk. Our cottage is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families, and furry friends. It’s close to the beach and lots of bars, restaurants, shops, cafes…Everything a traveler wants for a wonderful stay.

We also love long stays and want to accommodate whatever you might need for your longer-term stay in San Diego!
The space
Welcome to our family’s beach cottage in North Pacific Beach! Our one-bedroom cottage is right on the border of Pacific Beach and La Jolla so you will be in close proximity to both the nightlife in Pacific Beach and the laid-back surfer style of Bird Rock. It’s located 2 blocks from Tourmaline Beach and within walking distance of Law Street, the boardwalk, and Mission Beaches. You really can’t ask for a better location no matter what it is that you’re looking to do in the San Diego Beach area!

Our Beach cottage has one bedroom and is equipped with a king-size bed and pull-out Queen bed for 2 extra guests. It’s perfect for a smaller family, romantic getaway, or even parents visiting kids in one of the nearby colleges. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a small dining area, a separate living room, off-street/gated parking, and a secluded backyard retreat. Why stay in a hotel when you can have your own private space as your home away from home?

Looking for more than just a short vacation in San Diego? We often have guests who stay for a month or longer. We have fast wifi and multiple hangout areas which can easily be used for work as well. If you need something in particular to facilitate your longer stay, please ask! We will do everything we can to accommodate your needs.
Guest access
You will be able to access gated off-street parking, all areas of the cottage itself and the gated/secluded backyard patio area. Our cottage is the back house on the property and there are renters who stay in the front house, however, your area is completely gated off from the front house with your own private entrance and parking area. However, we do request that you please respect the privacy of the front house occupants and do not try to enter their separate area.
Other things to note
We have Wifi, Roku, and local cable channels. All information is in the move-in instructions which will be emailed prior to arrival! Instructions for using the Roku are provided at the cottage.

You will be sent a key code prior to your arrival which is unique for your stay dates and times. After booking, I will request for your email address so that I may email you your move-in instructions and access code as we have a lot of information that we provide for every guest!

We will be requesting for your email address in order to email you your stay information as well as a regulatory document that is required to be given to all guests in the City of San Diego.

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early arrival/Late departure may be available however these requests require extra coordination so there will be an extra fee for all late departures/early arrivals. Please inquire first as we often have same-day arrivals/departures and may not be able to accommodate all requests. Additionally, Luggage drop off may be available, with prior approval. Please inquire first before attempting to drop off luggage as this is only subject to availability as well.

House Rules

Checking in and out Check-in after 4:00 PM Checkout before 11:00 AM Self check-in with keypad During your stay 4 guests maximum Pets allowed No parties or events No smoking. EARLY CHECK INS AND LATE DEPARTURES must be approved first as we often have same day departures/check ins. There will be a $35 EARLY CHECK IN/LATE DEPARTURE FEE if it is possible. We request that you ask for this at least 3 days before your stay starts, as this often requires extra coordination with our cleaners/maintenance/etc. and is reliant on their schedules as well. This fee increase to $70 FOR EARLY CHECK INS BEFORE 1PM AND/OR LATE DEPARTURES AFTER 1PM. These fees are per occurrence, so if you would like to both check in early and depart late you will be charged two fees accordingly. *FOR LAST MINUTE REQUESTS (less than 3 days before your stay starts), if approved, there will be an additional $25 fee. These schedule changes require a lot of extra coordination with our support services and are often very difficult to accommodate as we really strive to make sure that the everything is properly prepared for our guests stay. I appreciate your understanding. If you have some flexibility regarding check in times and would like to avoid the fees, just let me know that you'd like to be informed if it's ready early and I will make sure to let you know! LUGGAGE DROPS (dropping only luggage off at the property before check in time or after check out time, then promptly leaving the property until check in time) is only possible with approval as well. There is no fee for a luggage drop. Approved luggage drops can never be dropped off earlier than 11:30 AM on the day of check in nor picked up later than 2:00 PM on the day of check out. These times may be different in coordination with the other reservations that we have surrounding your reservation, so please connect with me first so that we can ensure you don't overlap with another reservation. All pieces of luggage must be placed together in a place that is out of the way as much as possible, so that our cleaners can easily clean and prepare the property. This is best in a bedroom closet, or bedroom corner. Please do not linger at the property after dropping your bags off as our cleaners are trying very hard to get the property ready for a punctual check in time! WE REQUIRE YOU TO REVIEW AND AGREE TO COMPLY with San Diego's Good Neighbor Policy. We will request for your email address so that we can send you this as well our stay information in formatted version with highlights of the things that you need to know to make your stay easier.
